BRANDY MILK PUNCH

by By Emily Black | Photo by Rory Doyle

1 gallon of whole milk

1 pint half-and-half

1 pint heavy cream

2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted

2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

1 fifth brandy or bourbon, plus more to taste

Grated nutmeg for garnish

Pour milk, half-and-half, cream, sifted sugar, vanilla, and liquor into a large container. Whisk until sugar has dissolved. Taste, adding more sugar or liquor to taste. May freeze until ready to serve. Remove from freezer 1 hour prior to serving so punch will be slushy. Pour into serving glasses and grate fresh nutmeg or ground nutmeg lightly over top. Serve immediately.

Yield: approximately 2 gallons
