Recently, Ruth Smith of Brandon left a pretty plate of these delicious date nut muffins along with the recipe at my back door. They were such a delightful treat with a lovely thought from a special friend. l have also baked and shared these muffins with friends and neighbors at their back doors and on their porches. These sweet and spicy muffins are just perfect with an afternoon cup of coffee or tea or for breakfast. Enjoy one on a cool Mississippi fall day as you read Mississippi Magazine, and share some with friends and neighbors at their back doors!
